At Early Learners we are always looking for people who love to work with children. While most of our employees stay with us for a long time (3-17 years !) we do have some turnover, especially at the beginning and end of the school year.  Our centers are smaller & more personal. We have both full and part time positions and welcome those who would like to work as on-call and substitute staff or bus drivers!   :)

Current Openings

Preschool Teacher: We have an opening for a  full time teacher in our Toddler/Two  year old classroom. This is a full time position and requires an AA or BA in Early Childhood Ed or Child Development as well as experience in a formal child care/preschool setting. An individual with  a CDA and/or a combination of experience and continuing education hours and a demonstrated ability to plan and carry out a preschool curriculum  will also be considered. Ability to  do creative planning and to organize and maintain an orderly classroom are a must.

Part Time Teacher Associates: These positions require experience in an early childhood setting. You would be assisting lead teachers during preschool and playschool and would be in charge of small groups during transitional times of the day. We prefer staff who are available Mon-Fri. Willingness to drive the center school bus is a plus.

Full Time Cook/Kitchen Manager:  Our Kitchen Managers not only prepare meals and snacks but also are responsible for food program paperwork. We will train you to fulfill these functions. They are also often the first person a child sees when they arrive at the center because our Kitchen Managers greet and welcome the children and are the “communication masters” at the center, noting special instructions, etc. and passing them along to the appropriate staff members. A sunny personality and love of children and cooking are the most important skills.

On-call & Substitute Staff: If you are not seeking a regular full or part time position but would instead be available on short notice, please give us a call. Subs are usually needed every week to 10 days and sometimes we have longer term sub positions to cover vacations, maternity leave, etc.
